Lately, have you ever caught yourself thinking, “I have high self-esteem now!”?
Maybe you’ve attended self-development seminars, read the books, and genuinely feel more confident than before.
But here’s the thing: 🙂↕️ “I want to maintain my confident self.” 🙂↕️ “I have to keep being this confident version of me.”
This strong desire can sometimes feel like a chain, tying you to your own expectations.
If being "the confident me" has stopped you from meeting someone you can truly love, then it’s time to take a step back and reflect.
For example, when you like someone, do you find yourself placing all the value on “what they do for you”?
🥰 “They listen to my every whim.” 🥰 “They spend so much money on me.”
If these qualities are the main reasons you’re attracted to someone,
then it’s not high self-esteem.
It’s actually a reflection of the feelings underneath:
🥺“I want to be loved more.”🥺“I need more validation.”
I like to call this the 'Love Me More Syndrome'. Does that resonate with you?
People with genuine self-esteem don’t hesitate to give to others.
😀“I want to do something for the person I love.”
😀“I want to make them happy.”
They think and act this way naturally.
Thoughts like “What if I lose out?” or “What if I get hurt?” don’t even cross their minds.
If You Don’t Shift Your Mindset… 3 Problems That May Arise
1. Your Relationships May Become Self-Centered
When you focus too much on “what they do for you,” you lose sight of the joy of giving and the importance of cherishing someone.
If all you’re doing is just returning “favors” or only “saying thanks,” it’s a red flag!
2. Your Connections May Lack Depth
Even if things seem fine on the surface, you’ll struggle to build deep, meaningful bonds.
Because you’re not truly opening up.
This can sometimes lead to feelings of loneliness.
3. You Might Miss Out on Loving Someone Truly Special
When you’re afraid of getting hurt, you may settle for “safe” partners.
But by doing that, you might miss the chance to experience
a happy and fulfilling relationship with someone you truly love.
You might be thinking:
“But everyone around me is like this.”
That’s likely because birds of a feather flock together.
Your circle might be full of people who’ve chosen safe, practical relationships—
ones that don’t feel like love anymore but just look like a “marriage.”
Let me tell you—being in love with someone you genuinely care about is an incredible joy.
But getting there takes a little bit of courage.
That courage will lead you to even better, more fulfilling relationships.
You absolutely have what it takes.
So, start by being honest with yourself.
When you face your feelings head-on, love becomes so much more fun!
Take a moment to reflect— have you become one of those “I’m So Confident” girls?
If you truly have high self-esteem, giving to someone else won’t feel scary.
Be open, face your feelings, and enjoy the adventure of love! 💕

Happiness looks different for everyone, but deep love always comes with a profound, unshakable connection.
Some people go through life without ever knowing what that feels like. But others—those who are open to it—get to experience the depth of real love.
And today, I just wanted to remind you that this kind of love is possible for you, too.
A deep and truly love makes you happy. 💕
